Travel Diary #45 : New chapter in Barcelona

Hola 🇪🇸

I’m back in the continent ! I knew I wasn't done with Spain.

Here I am again, in Barcelona this time. After a few days of nostalgia for Morocco (and sickness from a food poisoning I caught during my last days there 🤢 Yaaayyy), I’m now fully enjoying my new city.

I’m moving to Barcelona for 3 months and I’m so excited about this new chapter ! I will be assisting a photographer in a photo studio.

To be honest, it was not easy for me to be back to Europe. I quickly got used to the African lifestyle. In my mind, Europe had become synonymous with stress, fast and expensive life and freezing cold. However, the smell of hot croissants in a café, creative art stores and an evening at the cinema quickly convinced me that Europe wasn’t the worst place to live.

Now that I’ve been here for almost a week, I can say that I love this place already. A city full of art and creative humans, by the sea and with sunshine all year round... what more can I ask for?

I've spent a week exploring the city, walking through the parks and enjoying the architecture and everything leads me to believe that I'm in the right place, at the right time, doing the right thing.

Congruence [noun] : showing consistent alignment between what we feel and the actions we take, the ideas we have and the words we speak. The quality or state of agreeing or corresponding.

I’m going to try to vlog my experience here. Here is the first video :

Should I make more videos ? Leave me a comment !

See you in the next one !

I have started this blog when I first travelled solo in South East Asia more than 2 years ago. The passion hasn’t faded and I’m still really excited to share photos and stories with you here. If you like the content I post every week and want to support the blog, you can buy me a coffee here ☕️ (A big thanks a lot to the people who supported me already, it means a lot 🙏🏻) or simply leave a comment :)
